I have great news! Just last week I was named the new art curator for the Fab Pdx Art Space located at 1317 SE 9th Street. (www.fabportland.com) It is my job to find artists and provide a positive and creative space for them to display their art. It has been a dream of mine for a long time to run a gallery space and build relationships with other artist. The first show is May 12th, 2011. It is a group show with 5 artist. Samantha Cimino, Kevin Dix, Martin Eggiman Jr, Heather Paske, and Eric Reigert will be representing for the first show at Fab Pdx. These artists are focusing and creating art based on what Fab Pdx stands for. They are all using used materials and focusing on color, texture, and most importantly they are creating one of a kind pieces. Every piece of work will be for sale and will be shown in the gallery for 3 weeks.
